Two innovative companies, Zouk and NG EarSafe, have raised new funds to drive growth in D2C fashion and audio technology.
Zouk, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) bags and luggage brand, raised $10 million in a Series B round led by Aavishkaar Capital. This funding will help Zouk expand its network of exclusive brand outlets, targeting 75 stores. The company will also enhance marketing efforts and invest in its supply chain.
Founded in 2015 by Disha Singh and Pradeep Krishnakumar, Zouk specializes in vegan leather bags crafted in India, including tote handbags, laptop bags, and sling bags. With 700,000 customers and a new line of luggage products, Zouk is gaining strong traction. The startup reported Rs 47.41 crore in revenue for FY23 but also saw losses increase to Rs 10.55 crore. The brand is valued at around $50 million.
NG EarSafe, an ENT-certified open-ear headphone brand, raised Rs 1.06 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds will drive brand awareness, product expansion, and new product development.
Led by Meet Shah and Raj Shah, NG EarSafe uses Air and Bone Conduction Technology to deliver safe listening. This unique tech transmits sound through vibrations, bypassing the eardrum and enhancing ear health. With 43,000 units sold, the brand has a strong presence on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart and is available in over 100 retail stores across India. NG EarSafe has an annual revenue run rate of Rs 10 crore.
