Two companies, SPRY Therapeutics and Swara Fincare, have raised funds to grow their businesses in healthcare technology and financial services.
SPRY Therapeutics, a platform for physical therapy professionals, raised $15 million in funding. The round was led by Flourish Ventures, Together Fund, and Fidelity’s Eight Roads and F-prime Capital. This brings the total raised by SPRY to $25 million since 2021.
Founded by Brijraj Bhuptani and Riyaz Rehman, SPRY helps physical therapists manage billing, patient data, and reports. It saves time by automating these tasks. SPRY helps clinics, from small businesses to large centers, with things like insurance reimbursements and cash flow.
The company has grown fast. In 18 months, it partnered with 105 clinics across 30 US states. It will use this new funding to expand further in the US. SPRY competes with companies like WebPT and PromptEMR.
Swara Fincare, a financial services company, raised Rs 19.4 crore (about $2.3 million). The funding round was led by UC Impower and Serica Angel Fund. The money will help the company grow and provide more services to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2022, Swara Fincare offers loans and insurance to people in rural and semi-urban areas. The company serves 35,000 households. It has 45 branches in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
Swara works with government agencies and NGOs to help people learn about financial services. It gives training and support to new entrepreneurs.
