Two fast-growing startups, Flent and Atomicwork, have raised a total of $9.5 million in funding. These companies are set to make big changes in both the urban renting and enterprise software spaces.

Flent: INR 6.5 Cr to Improve Renting in India

Bengaluru-based proptech startup Flent raised INR 6.5 Cr in a pre-seed round. This round was led by WEH Ventures with participation from 2 AM Ventures, Pareto Holdings, and several angel investors. These include top executives like Sanchan S Saxena (Atlassian), Aneesh Reddy (Capillary Technologies), Arjun Vaidya (Dr. Vaidya), Shradha Sharma (YourStory), and Abhilash N (Ivy Homes).

Founded in 2023 by Shail Daswani, Mayank Lalwani, and Rishabh Agnihotri, Flent aims to make renting homes easier. The platform lets customers move into fully furnished homes within 15 days with no brokerage fees. The new funding will help Flent grow its team and build India’s first full-stack renting platform.

Daswani shared, "We’re making renting as simple as booking an Uber. We want to get rid of outdated homes, high deposits, and poor service."

Since its launch, Flent has listed 120 homes in Bengaluru, with all of them rented in just 10 days. They also have a waitlist of over 500 people. Flent is set to compete with established companies like Zolo Stays, Settl, and Nestaway.

Atomicwork: $3M to Build AI-Powered Workflows

Atomicwork, a B2B SaaS startup, raised an extra $3 million in its seed round. This brings its total seed funding to $14 million. The round saw support from Abhinav Dhar (TransUnion), Prasad Ramakrishnan (tech leader), Avanish Sahai (former leader at Salesforce and Google Cloud), and Rich Waldron (CEO of Tray).

Founded in 2022 by Vijay Rayapati, Kiran Darisi, and Parsuram Vijayasankar, Atomicwork creates AI-powered software that automates work processes in IT, HR, and finance. The platform helps companies organize information from sources like documents, wikis, emails, and chat messages.

Rayapati, who previously founded Minjar (later sold to Nutanix for $50 million), said the new funds will be used to improve their AI agent technology and expand the company’s team in the United States.

Atomicwork is set to compete in the growing market for AI-powered enterprise software, where they help businesses work more efficiently.

Both Flent and Atomicwork are focused on solving major problems in their industries. With new funding and support from top investors, these startups are on track to make a big impact in the proptech and enterprise SaaS markets.
