Exposome Sri Mandir secures funding for expansion

Two companies, Exposome and AppsForBharat, have raised a lot of money to grow their businesses. Exposome works on clean technology, and AppsForBharat makes spiritual apps. The funds will help them improve their products and reach more people in India and other countries.

Exposome Raises INR 15 Cr to Expand

Exposome is a cleantech company that makes products to clean air and water. It raised INR 15 Cr (about $1.7 million) from Colossa Ventures and other investors. Colossa Ventures now owns 10% of Exposome. The money will help Exposome grow, improve its products, and reach more customers.

Making Better Air and Water Solutions

Exposome was started in 2020 by Prerna Goradia. It makes special filters that clean air and treat wastewater for factories. These filters help reduce pollution, which is a big problem.

“We are excited to have Colossa Ventures as our partner,” said Prerna Goradia. “Their support will help us grow and serve more companies.”

Even though Exposome is new, it’s growing fast. Last year, the company made INR 76.4 Lakh but also had a loss of INR 37.4 Lakh.

AppsForBharat Raises $18 Million for Sri Mandir

AppsForBharat is the company behind Sri Mandir, a popular devotional app. It raised $18 million in a new funding round led by Nandan Nilekani’s Fundamentum and other investors.

Growing the Sri Mandir App

Sri Mandir lets users visit temples online, join pujas, and make offerings. Since 2021, the app has been downloaded over 30 million times. The new funds will help the company add more features, reach more users, and expand to other countries like the US and UK.

In the last year, over 500,000 users have completed 2.7 million pujas through the app. AppsForBharat plans to add things like special tickets, spiritual tourism, and Prasad delivery in the next five years.

More Interest in Cleantech and Spiritual Apps

Investors are excited about cleantech and spiritual tech. Exposome is helping clean up air and water, while AppsForBharat connects people to spirituality through technology. Many other companies in this space are also growing and raising money.

Conclusion

With new funding, Exposome and AppsForBharat are ready to grow bigger. Exposome focuses on cleaning air and water, while AppsForBharat helps people connect with their spiritual side. Their success shows that technology can solve important problems and help many people.
