Two startups, Beaute Secrets and Figr, have recently secured funding to support their growth in the beauty and technology sectors.
Beaute Secrets, a beauty tools brand based in Gurgaon, has raised Rs 1.6 crore ($190,556) from the financing platform Velocity. The funds will help the brand expand operations, introduce new product categories, and grow its retail presence during the busy festive season.
Founded by Harika Aneja in 2010, Beaute Secrets focuses on creating durable, travel-friendly beauty tools. Over the years, the brand has served more than 4 million customers across India.
Co-founder of Velocity, Atul Khichariya, said, "We’re excited to support Beaute Secrets. This funding will help them meet the rising demand during the festive season, which is a key time for many brands."
Harika Aneja, the founder of Beaute Secrets, added, "Our goal has always been to provide high-quality beauty tools at affordable prices. We’ve built a trusted name in the market by offering products that are both durable and elegant."
Figr, a Bengaluru-based startup, has raised $2.25 million in a seed round led by Kalaari Capital. Other investors, including Antler, Golden Sparrow, and several angel investors, also participated.
Figr is an AI-powered design platform that helps product teams create user interfaces quickly and easily. Founded by Moksh Garg and Chirag Singla, the startup plans to use the funding to improve its AI models and expand its product and growth teams.
Figr has gained 75,000 users and processed over 500,000 queries so far. About 80% of its users are from outside India, highlighting its global appeal.
With its new funding, Figr plans to target a wide range of designers, from freelancers to design studios and startup teams. The company aims to make UI/UX design faster and more accessible.
